If the Bible is the greatest news ever, church should be a place that is never boring, no matter what your age!
We love getting together, and we hope you will find genuine care and kindness and genuine hope. The world is a tough place to be and we all need community and help from each other.
You are welcome to be real and honest. And church is a great place to find relationships, deep friendship and inspiring community.

Life Groups Making connections and friendships in local homes and cafes
Playgroup Pre-schoolers and caregivers with toys, trikes, music, morning tea & friendship. Thursdays 9-11am during term time. Includes a Plunket clinic
Kids & Teens Activities every Sunday and a great place to meet friends
Haven Games Board games, cards, puzzles, tea, coffee, baking & a chat! Mondays 1.30-3.30pm. Come for friendship & activities.
Alpha Course Run regularly through the year, this is a course covering the fundamentals of faith...and a great opportunity to have a meal together and ask ANY questions! 29 million people around the world have done this course!
Prayer Need prayer or wanting to pray with others? Wednesdays 10.30-11.30am, visit the office or submit through our contact tab.

Community Garden Just round the back you’ll find kai for the church and the community

Chin Glory Evangelical Church.
We share our facilities and partner with the amazing Chin Glory Evangelical Church.
A sister Baptist Church, they have their worship services on Sunday afternoons from 1pm, so there is some cross over between our two churches on a Sunday.
The Chin people group are out of Myanmar and make up about 4% of the Nelson population. They have often been persecuted for their faith in their own homeland.
You are very welcome to attend any of their services which are conducted in Hakha Chin (Lai) language.
